Craig Worthington:
Summer Camp 2008
Hitting and Fielding Instructional Summer Camp
Craig Worthington will host a KIDS Sponsored Introduction to "Hitting
for Power" Session, you must be a registered tournament player. We will
have room for 12 players per division only , each team will have two
spots guaranteed.
Craig Worthington was
drafted by the
Baltimore Orioles in the first round of the
1985 amateur draft. Worthington began his professional career with
the class
A
Bluefield Orioles, where he batted .341/.388/.589 with 7 homers and
20 RBI in 39 games. He did not play enough to qualify for the batting
title, or he would have finished second in that category. He was named
to the
Appalachian League All-Star team at third base and Appy league
managers voted him as the #3 prospect.
Worthington was named the Orioles starting third baseman; he batted
.247/.334/.384 with 15 HR and 70 RBI. Several Teams Craig has been

Cleveland Indians,
Chicago Cubs,
Cincinnati Reds,
Philadelphia Phillies,
Texas Rangers

Come play in the 2008 Dead President's Baseball Bash,
February 16-17 2008. Games will be played with 1 umpire, teams will
provide one new balls for every game. The registration fee is $225.00
for a 4 game guarantee. If you have any questions, feel free to contact

primarily by the university varsity softball team. However, since the
U.P. softball team also has adopted 2 public elementary schools as its
weekend civic activity work recipient (meaning, the university athletes
teaches them softball every weekends), some of the other equipment may
also be donated to them. |
